A kirtle is typical base clothing seen throughout 14th century Europe. We recommend to wear a linen shirt underneath such a garment. In combination with a surcotte, you have a comfortable outfit for many different occassions and weather conditions.
Our wool is woven according to our own recipe to get the best possible historical weft. It is woven 2-2, resulting in a very fine diagonally lined surface. It can be naturally dyed with dyes made from plants. The weaving, dying and cutting processes all take place in Germany.
Please note that plant-dyed garments take a little longer to make, due to the special dying process. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
